Millcreek Canyon

So at the beginning of January my good friend Kailey invited me up to Jeff's (her boyfriend) cabin.
I was so excited!
But I didn't want to go alone because
A: I have that girl syndrome where you don't like to do anything alone.
and B: I would have had to hike up the canyon alone late at night.
So I begged my good friend Jessica to come with me the following morning, especially because Kailey thought I would be there the day before and I was worried she thought I was dead on the side of a mountain.
So Jess and I drive as far up the canyon we can go, park, and start the hike up to Jeff's cabin.
We laugh at Jeff's directions...
"Just start hiking up until you see some cabins.. if you've hit the top of the mountain, turn around, you've gone too far."
I said, "No way its really 4 miles up to his cabin!"
4 miles of "I'm sure its just around the corner...." later....
We made it!
And you know what?
It was worth it.
Even though I practically passed out at the top because I'm out of shape and the doctor had taken 6 vials of blood from me that day...still.. WORTH IT!
It was breathtaking beautiful.
And I'll never forget how fun it was to sled down the mountain the next day!
Even if I did biff it through a set of skiers while yelling out "HOW DO I STOP!?"
So here you have it..
A weekend of fresh fresh snowy air :)
And warming up by the fire.

Apparently if you live in a place with snow.. you should invest in snow pants and real boots.....
I never learn, even when I'm knee deep in snow!

Jeff loves his purple gloves!

And Kailey.

Happy Almost Valentines day to Jeff and Kailey!
Thanks for the mini getaway
and for being awesome!

P.S. If you want me to take down the embarrassing pictures, I will :)
