To Elder Trevor Strong

Dear Trevor,

I know we weren't ever super close, but you were always around. At school, at soccer games, birthday parties and "hang outs" with friends from jr. high all the way to college. You were always in good supply of laughter and lifting the mood if necessary. After high school, getting to know you meant more to me then you'll ever know. When you would come to visit Ashley with Matt and Scott, we knew we were going to have a good weekend. We looked forward to it. Spending time with you and my roommates made me feel better and helped me adjust to being away from home. I finally felt like I fit into college life when I was with all of you. I will always regret not going on the camping trip with you all that summer. I'll never forget mistaking you for Ashley in her bed one morning because you hated sleeping on the floor and your "three hole punch Jim from The Office" costume for Halloween. Your string puppet dance moves were so funny.
Losing you has been really hard and such a shock. But its really taught me that I need to live life better, that I need to live it fuller like you did. I need to cherish what I have and always stay close to the church. I know its the true restored gospel.
Trevor, I know this was your time to go. I know God needed you back to do his work on the other side and welcomed you with loving and open arms. I know you will be rewarded for your selfless service and love for our Father's children. I hope you know how much we all miss you here! We love you more than words can describe. All I can do is pray for comfort for friends and your family. Rest in peace, my friend. God be with you til we meet again.

Love, Jessica
