I can't breathe.
No, not because I have asthma.
Remember Mr. kidney stone?
Well it's official.
He is mine, or I am his.
Whatever.
I have been in and out of severe pain for 8 days nows.
Saturday morning at 4:30 A.M. I awake in pain and cannot move.
I curl up in a ball with a heat pad and wait out this 4 hour pain session.
Finally, I feel okay about waking up my mom.
She says that is it. Hospital time.
I say..I can't do it alone.
So I bum a ride to Salt Lake, squishing my roomies the whole way (sorry guys!)
and make it home.
The pain has lessened, I just feel really achy but Mom says we should still go.
I get admitted into the hospital, have a scan, an X ray, and watch the Jazz game.
They didn't even win. :(
This fine looking doctor comes back in and says:
well you have a kidney stone.
It's 5mm big.
and... only half way through.
Halfway? In a week!?
5mm?
That's almost half a centimeter!
Being pushed out this tiny little tube inside your body!
He gives me a prescription and tells me to call a Urologist.
In the mean time....
I'm behind in school and furiously trying to make it up!
I also caught a cold.
Wish me luck friends!
I'm in for another loooong week!
P.S. My dad has been calling me "Pebbles" all weekend.
Thanks Dad.
