At school this week, this girl handed me a book entitled:
Why men LOVE B@$!*#&.
I thought, I didn't come to college to read this!
But i succumbed and during my stinky 1 & 1/2 hour break,
read a little.
Some concepts I do believe the author got right,
such as:
#20 He must feel that you choose to be with him, not that you need to be with him.
Only then will he perceive you as an equal partner.
Also,
#1 Anything a person chases in life runs away.
But some things I do not agree with:
# 61 When you nag, he sees weakness.
# 66 Talking about feelings to a man feels like work. When he's with a woman he wants it to feel like fun.
This just reminded me about the LDS version of Pride and Prejudice in which all the girls are reading the Pink Bible in order to meet guys.
So, I closed the book.
I don't need to meet any guys, but I can assure you that when I do meet one,
I will not play games.
I'm a believer in just being yourself! The good side and the bad side.
What's the point of playing games anyways?
