Wacky Warriors

My good friend Kailey, recently lost one of her best friends, Nick, to cancer.

I was lucky enough to have the pleasure of meeting Nick once and let me tell you, he was definitely a warrior. 

Nick started an annual softball tournament called Nick's Wacky Warriors to raise money for cancer research and this year, I was asked to take some photos of the day!

I was more than happy to drive back down to my home town and capture this awesome event!

This day really made me happy. At first, I was super scared to take pictures, people really give you funny looks! But once I was warm to the scene and the people knew what i was up to, I really got into it and was literally rolling in dirt to get shots.

And you know what?

It was worth it! Don't you think?
