The Silver Lining

My new theory....

Sometimes, first time failures lead to second time success.

Here's the story.

Once upon a time,

a girl named Jessica took a dreadful class: photo II

This class was all about shooting film and its lovely technicalities. (super confusing)

But she attempted to defeat The Zone System and Towel Tests...

and was somehow surviving!

Then Mr. Kidney Stone arrived.... oh that wretched villian!

and Jessica got really sick. :(

So alas, her school work suffered and led to a passing grade of C +

(All photo majors must have at least a B - in all photo classes).

ONE SEMESTER LATER

One super hot and sunny Wednesday, Jessica and her classmates received an assignment dealing with 4x5  film cameras.... they were to have their photos taken by Monday!

Now, it was only the 3rd time the class had met and not a lot of students had received their film in the mail yet.

But guess who has 4x5 film leftover from a photo II class because they got sick and didn't use it?

Ring the bells Ladies and Gentlemen....

It's me!

So the morale of the story?

Sometimes failing the fist time leads to success the second time!

Or.. it just leads to you having extra supplies. Score!
