Last night was a long night.
School until seven..a walk home in the freezing cold.
I then needed to order some supplies for my photography class.
My class is Advanced Black and White Film.
This means we stay old school and produce our own prints in a dark room.
This is pretty cool!
However, buying enlarging paper is not.
so.freaking.expensive!
I was forced to spend 85.00 on 50 sheets of Illford paper, pretty much the only brand
left worth buying according to my professors...
I searched and searched for alternate brands that he recommended but
they simply don't exist anymore!
This is kind of sad, but fuels the ongoing debate about
film photography disappearing and digital taking over...
I'm starting to think it just may happen?
Where are all of the suppliers going!?
Anyways...thanks to my recent purchases for photography supplies,
I think my next trip to the grocery store will include top ramen, top ramen, and macaroni and cheese.
Ah, to be a college student.
