I'm showing you all of my pictures in a fairly random order I'm afraid..
oh well!
Rome was actually the very last city I visited, thats where we flew out of Italy.
We originally flew into Milan and then rented a car and hit a few cities on our way more south...

First of all Rome was pretty, and pretty crowded.
I always thought driving in L.A. would be crazy.. that would be nothing compared to Rome.
Props to the big brother Alex for taking on the driving duties!
We chose to stay at the Marriott that was a 20 minute from centro (that means the center of the city) because it was cheaper.
First of all, this was the nicest hotel I have even been in!
But everything was very costly... and the staff treats you as if they are doing you a favor by letting you stay there. Complete opposite of America where customer service is all about the customer. Weird concept right?

our room the lobby: marble everywhere!

outdoor pool

indoor pool.
We were pretty bummed that the indoor pool cost 10 euros to get in for a couple hours..
we only got to walk by the pools because we were out sight seeing all day and the pools closed at7!
Italians have weird thoughts when it comes to swimming...
My grandma wouldn't let us swim for like 3 hours after we ate.
Plus, ice in Italy? Don't even ask.. I didn't see a single ice cube the whole time there.
Sight seeing was worth it though.. We paid for one of those all day tours and just hopped on a bus whenever we wanted and they take you right to the main places to see!
Here is what we checked out:
The Colosseum
This shows what it would have looked like back in time..
I'm going to blow one of these up possible and hang it on my wall :)
The Pantheon
What do you think of this picture?
There is so much more I believe I will do a Rome part 2 next...
