Its official.

My old blog is no more.

Deleted. Gone. Zapped. Expired. Eliminated. Diminished.

But guess what is here?

Paige and Sam.

They accompanied me through all the breathtaking gardens at the house of Savoy in Italy.

This is the palace where Italy's royalty, The Savoia, used to live.

Side-note: Italy no longer has royalty, they are a parliamentary republic.

I felt like I was in a Jane Austen book while I traveled these halls, especially the grounds...

I just couldn't resist taking some "couple pictures" for Paige and Sammy because they were kissing all the time anyways, and always wanted pictures plus I want to be a photographer so....

Here is my brother Sam and his girlfriend Paige and their "engagements" (not really).

For some reason I wouldn't get close to them while they were kissing...

Paige does a little modeling. Can't you tell? She is a beauty.

Her hair just blows like that, no fan required!

Paige and Sam were so nice and took a few pictures for me (definitely not a model).

They could obviously tell how much I loved these gardens.

Which is A LOT.

There were just roses EVERYWHERE!

I have always wanted to go to a place like this and now I have.

Too bad the weather was overcast.. some sunshine would have been perfect.

You will see we took this kind of weather with us everywhere.

New goal: find a close by gardens that do not require frequent flyer miles.

Next up I will show you the rest of the palace...

I might just say this was one of my favorite places we went to in Italy even though its not exactly a huge tourist attraction.
